Understand How Your Car’s Clutch Works

Having a basic understanding of your car’s components can help you take better care of your vehicle and lengthen its life span. Your transmission and clutch are important parts of your drivetrain, and damage to these can be expensive to preair.

In this video you will learn how your car’s clutch works. The clutch transfers the power between the motor and the wheels. The clutch disc is between the fly wheel and the pressure plate. This allows the clutch to spin freely in the middle. When you press and release the clutch pedal, the pressure plate moves back and forth to engage or disengage the clutch disc to the fly wheel.
